These Fudgy Oat Flour Brownies (vegan) are a perfect easy, healthy and delicious brownie recipe. These vegan fudge brownies are healthier than your average brownie but you would never know it. Oat flour adds fiber and and the nut butter and coconut oil add healthy fats. In addition these brownies are lightly sweetened with no refined sugar.

Ingredients
- oat flour
- coconut oil
- apple sauce
- cacao
- plant milk
- maple syrup
- coconut sugar
Substitutions
- Nut butter - I like to use tahini here but you can use any nut butter that is drippy and oily. I don't recommend using cashew butter because it is super thick.
- apple sauce - i believe an egg or flax egg would work here.
- plant milk - any milk works here.
- oat flour - I do not suggest subbing this out.
Instructions

Mix together the batter.

Add batter to a baking dish and bake.

Let cool and serve.
Storage instructions
These can be stored in a sealed container or bag in your freezer for months, or your refrigerator for about a week.

Fudgy oat flour brownies (vegan)
Ingredients
Wet
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar
- ⅓ cup applesauce
- 1 tablespoon plant milk
- ½ cup drippy nut butter I like tahini
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry
- 1 cup + 3 tablespoon oat flour
- ⅓ cup cacao
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together your wet ingredients, pour in dry ingredients and mix.
- Pour batter into a lined (i used parchment paper) 8x8 baking dish. Top with chocolate chips if desired. Bake for 22-25 minutes.
- Let brownies completely cool before slicing, I recommend a full hour or 30 minutes in the fridge. Otherwise they will be crumbly.
