- Vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract) – Enhances flavor and adds a warm, sweet aroma.
- Cacao powder – Gives the pudding a rich chocolate flavor and antioxidants.
- Chocolate protein powder – Increases the protein content while complementing the chocolate flavor.
- Salt – Balances sweetness and deepens the chocolate flavor.
- Cacao nibs – Add crunch and an extra layer of deep chocolate flavor.

Use a dairy-free milk, plant-based protein powder, and a non-dairy yogurt alternative like coconut or almond yogurt.
Dates are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and essential minerals like potassium and magnesium, which support digestion, heart health, and sustained energy.
Recipe Pro-Tips
Stop and scrape down the sides as you blend this to ensure that it gets fully blended.
I recommend using a whey protein powder for this recipe as vegan protein will absorb a lot of liquid. If you use vegan protein powder you may need a splash more liquid.
You can pair this chia pudding with fruit for a balanced breakfast.
