Ingredients for kiwi bark with cacao nibs and almond butter
- kiwi
- coconut oil
- dark chocolate
- almond butter
- salt
- cacao nibs
Substitutions for no bake kiwi bark
- dark chocolate - any chocolate works for this recipe, although keep in mind white chocolate is harder to melt.
- coconut oil - you can leave this out if you have a allergy. Coconut oil serves to make the chocolate melt easier.
- kiwi - bananas or strawberries would be a good substitute.
- almond butter - any nut butter works.
Instructions

Step 1
Spread almond butter on kiwis and freeze.

Step 2
Coat bark in chocolate and freeze again.

Step 3
Slice and serve.
Storage instructions
These can be stored in a sealed container or bag in your freezer for months, or your refrigerator for about 3 days.

Salted dark chocolate kiwi bark
Ingredients
- 5 kiwis - sliced into 4 even slices each
- ½ cup almond butter can sub peanut butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Optional toppings
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
- pinch flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Add kiwi slices to 5 rows of kiwi slices with 4 slices in each row. Try to make sure that all of the kiwi edges are touching.
- Add almond butter to kiwis and spread over to make a nut butter layer. Add kiwi + almond butter layer to the freezer for 20 minutes to harden.
- Melt together coconut oil and chocolate. I melted mine for 3 30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring after each interval.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over top of the peanut butter and use a spoon or spread the chocolate into a thin layer. Wait a few minutes and then sprinkle flaky sea salt + cacao nibs if using. Add the bark back to the freezer for about 15 more minutes, until the chocolate has set.
- Slice bark and dig in.
