Storage instructions
I recommend storing the clusters in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 3 days because this gives them the soft ice cream like texture.
You can also freeze them for 3 months and thaw them out as you want to eat them.
Recipe Pro-Tips
Make sure your clusters are full frozen before dipping them in chocolate. Otherwise they will melt and create a whole mess.
Use greek yogurt to bump up the protein in this recipe.
Don't omit the oil in this recipe as it prevents the dark chocolate from seizing and clumping.
Recipe FAQS
Cherries are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that support heart health, reduce muscle soreness, improve sleep quality, and may help regulate blood sugar.
Greek yogurt is high in protein, probiotics, and calcium, which support muscle growth, gut health, and strong bones while keeping you full longer.
Dark chocolate is healthier than milk chocolate because it contains more cocoa and less sugar, providing higher levels of antioxidants and beneficial compounds that support heart and brain health.

Dark Chocolate Cherry Yogurt Clusters
Ingredients
- 1 cup cherries - pitted and quartered
- ¾ cup greek yogurt you can use unsweetened or sweetened depending on your preference
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil can sub olive oil, don't omit as it prevents the chocolate from seizing
optional toppings
Instructions
- Add vanilla, cherries and yogurt to a bowl. Mix together until combined.
- Spoon* out mixture onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper (a plate or other flat surface also works) into 5 evenly sized clusters. Freeze for 1-2 hours or overnight, until hardened. I have found that dairy yogurt takes a full 2 hours to freeze while vegan can freeze in closer to an hour.
- Melt together chocolate and coconut oil. I melted mine for 3 30 second intervals in the microwave.
- Dunk each cluster in dark chocolate. Sprinkle over the rest of the flaky salt. Freeze again for 10-15 minutes, until set. Dig in and enjoy!**
