Ingredients
- almond butter
- maple syrup
- coconut sugar
- apple sauce
- oat flour
- vanilla
- chocolate chips
- coconut oil
- milk of choice

Substitutions
- Coconut sugar - can be subbed with brown sugar.
- Maple syrup - can be subbed with honey.
- Almond butter - you can use another thick nut butter like cashew or potentially peanut butter. If your nut butter is super liquidy this will mess up the consistency.
- Oat flour - do NOT sub out the flour.
- Plant milk - you can use dairy milk.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Mix together batter.
Add to baking dish and bake.
Serve.
Storage instructions
You can store the bars in a sealed container in your fridge for up to 5 days or in your freezer for months.
Recipe Pro-Tips
Make sure to let the bars fully cool before cutting, otherwise they will be sticky.

Vegan Oat Flour Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
Ingredients
Wet
- ⅓ cup apple sauce
- ½ cup almond butter
- ⅓ cup melted coconut oil
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon milk of choice
Dry
- 1 ½ cups + 2 tablespoons oat flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Add all wet ingredients to a bowl and mix. Pour in out flour and mix again. Lastly fold in the chocolate chips.
- Add batter to a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes and then dig in.
