Lemon Hibiscus Spritzer Mocktail - a gut healthy and refreshing mocktail. This mocktail is simple to make and made in your blender. The apple cider vinegar and lemon add tang that replaces alcohol. This drink is so good and good for you.

Ingredients
- hibiscus tea
- water
- sparkling water
- mint
- lemon
- apple cider vinegar
- honey (optional)

Substitutions
- lemon - lime would also work but I prefer lemon
- honey - feel free to use maple syrup to keep this recipe vegan or omit like I did.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Add all ingredients except for sparkling water to blender and blend.

Add strawberry mixture to the glass and top off with sparkling water. Serve and enjoy.
Storage instructions
You can store the hibiscus mixture for up to 3 days in a sealed jar or container in your fridge. Add the sparkling water as you make the drink to avoid it going flat.
Recipe Pro-Tips
I did not sweeten my drink as I find hibiscus tea to be naturally sweet. Feel free to add honey if you like a sweeter drink.

Lemon Hibiscus Spritzer Mocktail
Equipment
- 1 blender or food processor
Ingredients
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 hibiscus tea bag
- 1 tablespoon mint
- juice from ½ lemon
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, I did not sweeten mine
- ~1 cup sparkling water
- desired amount of ice
Instructions
- Add the tea bag to the hot water and let it steep/ cool for 10-15 minutes. To speed up this process you could let it steep for 3 minutes and then pop it in the fridge or freezer for 5 minutes to cool down.
- Remove tea bag from tea and add tea to a blender along with the remaining ingredients except for the sparkling water and ice.
- Add ice to your favorite cup. Fill halfway with hibiscus mixture and halfway with sparkling water. Repeat for the second mocktail* and enjoy.
