Substitutions
- feta - feel free to use vegan feta or omit.
- dill - parsley or mint would be a good substitute.
- greek yogurt - feel free to use unsweetened vegan yogurt. Keep in mind this will lower the protein content of the recipe.

Storage instructions
You can store the extra tacos in a sealed container in your fridge for up to 24 hours. You can reheat these tacos in the microwave or oven. I recommend storing the filling and shell separately and forming the taco as you go to eat it if possible.

I prefer using corn tortillas for this recipe but flour also works. I love Mi Rancho tortillas.
Costco wild caught argentine red shrimp are my favorite shrimp to cool with.

High Protein Mediterranean Shrimp Tacos
Ingredients
shrimp
sauce
slaw
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 tablespoons sauce from step above
- ¼ cup crumbled feta
Other ingredients
- 6 warm tacos shells I used corn and warmed them on my gas stove, you can also use a microwave or oven
Instructions
- Add shrimp to a bowl along with garlic, seasoning and lemon. Mix to combine and set aside.
- Add all sauce ingredients to a bowl and mix together until combined.
- Add shredded cabbage, 2 tablespoons of sauce, and feta to a bowl. Toss together until combined.
- Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear shrimp for 90 seconds to 2 minutes each side, until cooked through.
- Add sauce to taco shell. Top with 2-4 shrimp and slaw. Repeat 6 times** and dig in.
