My crispy oven baked tofu is one of my most popular tofu recipes. Now that I have an air fryer I knew I had to make an air fryer version. These Crispy Air Fryer Tofu Nuggets will be your new favorite way to eat tofu.

Instructions
Toss tofu in starch and spices.
Add tofu to an even layer in your air fryer and air fry.
Let tofu cool and serve.

- Arrowroot starch or cornstarch
Substitutions
- avocado oil - any oil works here.
- soy sauce - tamari or coconut aminos works here.
- nutritional yeast - if you can't find nutritional yeast use additional starch.

crispy air fryer tofu nuggets
Ingredients
- 1 block extra firm tofu – pressed and cubed
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or other neutral oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoon arrowroot starch/powder or cornstarch
- pinch salt and pepper
Instructions
- Add tofu to a bowl and toss with all listed ingredients until tofu is evenly coated
- Add tofu to air fryer in an even layer. Air fry at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes, shaking once halfway through.
- Serve tofu and enjoy. I love mine with fresh avocado, herbs and lettuce.

I've made this three times now. We dropped the vinegar from the dipping sauce and only used 1/2 TBL sriracha. Excellent quick and easy snack. Using a good tahini is essential.
