This savory & crispy oven baked tofu is the best tofu recipe ever! Tofu is kind of controversial. I totally get it because some tofu is straight up disgusting. If it is not prepared properly it can be flavorless and mushy. But like any food, it can be made amazing with the right preparation and flavors.

This crispy tofu can convert almost any tofu hater. My secret to getting a good crisp is using arrowroot starch or cornstarch. In addition soy sauce, spice and yeast combo makes the tofu so flavorful. I could eat a block of this crispy tofu plain!

Tofu is one of my favorite proteins. For more yummy recipes try my chimichurri tofu or my lemon ginger tofu. Yum!

This was my first time working with tofu. I used the crispy tofu in the Hot Honey Sticky Cauliflower recipe. It tasted great and was very easy to make. Thanks for sharing both of these recipes.

I’ve been plant based for over three years now and I love tofu, but I always had a hard time getting it super crispy. This recipe is spot on! I like to use smoked paprika and spicy seasoned salt for a little heat too!
