Artichoke Tofu Steaks

How to make this recipe:
This recipe is so easy to make. First you mix together your marinade, then you pour the marinade over the tofu. Then you let the tofu sit for 15 minutes to soak up the flavor. Finally sear the tofu in a pan over medium heat until it browns.

- artichokes in oil
- garlic
- parsley
- soy sauce
- lemon
- maple syrup
How to store the leftovers:
The leftover tofu can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Ingredients
Tofu
- 1 block extra firm tofu - pressed and cut into 4 blocks
Marinade
- 1 pack artichokes in oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- juice from ½ lemon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ cup finely chopped parsley
- 3 garlic cloves - minced
Instructions
- Make your marinade by mixing together all marinade ingredients.
- Pour marinade over tofu and let sit for 15-30 minutes.
- Add marinade and tofu to a pan over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes on each side until the tofu starts to brown.
