This smoothie has healthy fats from the avocado and seeds. The seeds also add protein as well as minerals like zinc and magnesium. Wild blueberries add antioxidants and fiber. Spinach packs this smoothie with iron which is important for vegans and vegetarians. Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable which is important for balancing your hormones.
Storage instructions
Making a double batch of smoothie is a game changer. I store the extra smoothie in a mason jar in my fridge overnight. You can also freeze the smoothie in a mason jar and thaw it out when you are ready to eat it.

Ingredients
This makes 2 servings of smoothie
- 1 ½ cups frozen wild blueberries (can use regular)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 ½ cups frozen cauliflower cut into tiny florets or frozen zucchini
- 2 handfuls frozen spinach
- 2 servings vanilla protein powder (I like sprout living, use code avocadoskillet20 for 20% off)
- ½ tsp mint extract or a few fresh mint leaves
- ½ small avocado or ¼ large
- 2 tbsp cacao
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 ½-2 cups water (depends how thick you like your smoothie)
