Recipe Pro-Tips
Use a high-quality bread for maximum flavor and texture - a thick sourdough from a local bakery is ideal. Sourdough naturally supports digestion thanks to its fermentation process, helps your body absorb nutrients more easily, and has a gentler effect on blood sugar due to its lower glycemic impact. Many people even find it easier to tolerate than conventional bread, especially if they’re sensitive to gluten.
Recipe FAQS
Pears are rich in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants, supporting digestion, gut health, and overall nutrition. Their natural sweetness satisfies cravings while offering hydration and essential nutrients without heavy calories.
