This Air Fryer Cottage Cheese Banana Toast is the best healthy snack or breakfast. It is ready in less than 15 minutes and is easy to make. The bananas get caramelized in the air fryer making the toast taste delicious. If you don't have an air fryer don't fear, I included oven instructions as well.

Substitutions
- cottage cheese - you can sub this with goat cheese or another soft spreadable cheese. To make this recipe vegan use a dairy free ricotta or cream cheese or use nut butter.
- honey - can be subbed with maple syrup.
- bananas - banana can be subbed with any fruit.

Add toppings to toast.

Air fry toast for 6-7 minutes.

Add additional toppings and enjoy.

I used my Ninja XL air fryer for this recipe. If you don't have an air fryer you can also use an oven, I included instructions for both.
Recipe Pro-Tips
I highly suggest getting a good quality and grass fed cottage cheese. Not only will it taste 10x better, grass fed dairy is also far more nutritious. My favorite brands are Good Culture or Kalona super foods.

Air Fryer Cottage Cheese Banana Toast
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 piece sourdough or bread of choice
- ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon (or to taste)
- pinch flaky sea salt
- 2-4 tablespoons cottage cheese
- ½-1 finely sliced banana
- 1-2 teaspoons honey
- +optional toppings of bee pollen and fresh chopped mint
Instructions
- Spread cottage cheese on toast, top with bananas, cinnamon, salt and honey.
- Air fry toast for 6-7 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Oven instructions: Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
- Top toast with bee pollen and mint if using and dig in.
