  • Add the first 6 ingredients to a food processor and blend until combined.
  • Form 7 evenly truffles by grabbing a small handful of dough (about 1 ½ tablespoons), smushing it together, and then rolling into a ball.
  • Add date balls to a sheet pan, cutting board or plate. Freeze for about 10 minutes.
  • Melt chocolate chips by heating them for 3 30 second intervals in the microwave and stirring after each interval.
  • Dip and cover each ball in chocolate and add back to your surface that you used to freeze the balls. Coat in flaky salt and freeze again for 10-20 minutes until chocolate has hardened.

Notes

*I recommend buying dates WITH the pits and removing them yourself. Dates with the pits left in are typically fresher.
