Equipment

Ingredients

  • ~12-13 brussels sprouts
  • ½ tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ tablespoon balsamic
  • ½ tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • salt to taste I put a very tiny amount because soy sauce is salty
  • black pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Thinly slice brussels vertically from root to top. I cut about 4 slices per sprout.
  • Add sliced brussels to a bowl. Toss with remaining ingredients.
  • Add brussels to an air fryer in an even layer, avoiding crowding the brussels. It took me two batches to air fry mine.
  • Air fry brussels at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes, until desired level of crispness has been reached. Repeat for every batch you are making. If you are using an oven, add brussels to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-20 minutes at 425 degrees or until crisp.

Notes

This makes 2-3 servings of brussels sprouts.
