These japanese sweet potato fries with tahini cheese sauce are the best way to enjoy sweet potato fries.

Ingredients

Fries

  • 1 japanese sweet potato - sliced into fries
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp italian or all purpose seasoning (optional)

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tsp miso (or sub soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup water

+ 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley and optional 1/4 cup hemp seeds for extra protein

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Toss fries in oil and spices. Add fries to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.Roast for 30-40 minutes, until crisp.
  3. Make your tahini sauce by mixing together all sauce ingredients in a bowl, adding in the water last.
  4. Drizzle sauce on fries and top with parsley and hemp seeds.
