This baked crispy smashed cauliflower is a delicious way to enjoy cauliflower.


  • 1 head cauliflower - broken or cut into florets
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2-1 tsp salt (adjust to your preference)
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Add cauliflower florets to boiled and salted water. Cook for 4 minutes.
  3. Add florets to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Smash each floret with the bottom of a glass or jar. Coat with oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Bake  cauliflower for 25-35 minutes until crisp. Smaller pieces may cook faster than larger pieces so remove them as they are cooked.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
