Salted Caramel Apple Date Bark

  • Add dates to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or silicone. I did 5 rows of 3 dates. Add another piece of parchment paper to the sheet pan and flatten the dates.
  • Top dates with apple slices. I did about 5 slices of apples per row of dates.
  • Melt together chocolate and coconut oil. I melted mine at 3 30 seconds intervals in the microwave, stirring after each microwave session.
  • Pour chocolate over dates and apples. Make sure chocolate goes in between all the grooves of the apples and dates so everything sticks together.
  • Refrigerate date bark for 15 minutes, until set. Slice and enjoy.

Notes

*If you have a coconut allergy you can sub another oil. This helps the chocolate to melt easier and prevents it from seizing.
