Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter can sub in olive oil but I love the flavor butter adds
  • 2 medium pears - diced
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon divided
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom divided
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg divided
  • tiny pinch salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds can sub in additional chia seeds if desired
  • ½ cup milk of choice I like whole milk for more protein
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 2 servings vanilla protein powder I recommend whey protein*

Instructions

  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add pears and half of the cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom. Cook for about 10 minutes until pears have softened.
  • Add pears to a mixing bowl along with the rest of the ingredients including the rest of the cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix until fully combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate oats for at least 3 hours, or overnight. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

*vegan protein absorbs more water so if you use this you will need to add more liquid.
