Ingredients for almond butter reeses
- banana
- nut butter

Substitutions
- dark chocolate - feel free to sub in milk chocolate.
- nut butter - I used almond butter as I am allergic to peanuts but any nut or seed butter works with the exception of tahini as it is too liquidy.
Instructions
- Cover banana slices with almond butter and freeze
- Melt chocolate.
- Add chocolate and banana slices to muffins liners and freeze again.
- Dig in!

Storage instructions
The leftover bites can be stored in your freezer for up to 3 months or in your fridge for 2-3 days.
Recipe FAQ
Normal reeses are loaded with sugar and nasty preservatives so they are not healthy. However these reeses have no added sugar besides the chocolate so they are very healthy for you!
Recipe Pro-Tips
Use a good quality dark chocolate for the best tasting dessert. I love Hu Kitchen.

dark chocolate banana reese's (vegan)
Ingredients
- 1 banana - cut into about 12 even slices
- ~12 teaspoons almond butter or sub your favorite nut butter can omit if allergic
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- flaky salt to taste
Instructions
- Top banana slices with a thin layer of nut butter (about 1 teaspoon per slice). Add bananas to a plate or tray and freeze for ten minutes.
- Melt chocolate until smooth. I melted mine in 3 30 second intervals in the microwave.
- If using paper liners, add them to a muffin tray. If using silicone muffin liners or a silicone muffin tray you can skip that step.
- Add about ½ tablespoon of chocolate to each liner. Add bananas on top of chocolate adding one banana per liner. Pour over the remaining chocolate to mostly cover bananas, about 1-2 tablespoons per cup. Top with flaky sea salt if desired.
- Freeze banana bites for about 30 minutes or refrigerate for 1 hour, until set. Dig in and enjoy.

My only complaint with these is that I eat the entire batch at one time! At least they are healthy.
